“OK SO – I must confess I LOVE Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden skincare products ” Yvette Le Blowitz – Spa it girl – Australian Spa expert
Do you want clean glowing skin? Then you need to be doing more then a daily: cleanse, exfoliate and moisturiser. You need to be doing a weekly mask that is designed to help whatever skin concern you want to work on and improve. If you want to unclog your pores than you need to choose a mask that helps to do so, if you want to work on your fine lines and wrinkles than choose a mask that helps to do this.
My Weekly Mask ritual happens on a Sunday when I am having a night in. I like to pop on a mask as it’s not only good for your skin but really relaxing too. I created my own Sunday Spa session at home so I could truly live a Spa it girl way of life. I mean lets face it who can afford to visit a day spa every week or even once a month? But that doest mean you need to miss out on nurturing yourself. A lot of people say to me I don’t have time to put on a mask once a week as they are so busy. My response is always – do you have time for Facebook? if the answer is yes – then you have time to pop on a face mask once a week as it only take’s between 5 to 10 minutes to do it – that’s it.
I wanted to share with you one of my all time favourite spa products – The Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden which was founded in 1977 by US choreographer Gary Cockerill as a gift of love to his ballerina wife, it was born from a Love story not a Lab story.
The Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden, London become to be one of London’s and the world’s most iconic woman only day spa and it was famous for it’s spa swing which featured in movies, amongst other things. It was a spiritual sanctuary for women to unwind in, and a sanctuary spa to help restore weary bodies, minds and souls. To be honest as a self confessed Spa Expert – I was actually devastated to hear of the news that the Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden, London was closing down after 37 years. But – I am now really happy that they choose to devote all of their time, love and effort into there amazing Sanctuary Spa product’s as they are absolutely beautiful and available for us to buy in Australia on-line too.
I think there is nothing better than being able to create your own Spa it girl – day spa experience at home. Here is one of favourite anti-ageing facial spa treatment you can use and do at home:
Mask: Time Reversal Face Mask by Sanctuary SPA Covent Garden.
Why use it? With age, the connective tissues that keep skin firm begin to weaken, making it thinner, drier & more easily prone to wrinkles. Used in one of the most popular treatments in the spa, & women comment that their skin feels immediately plumped, firmer & more supple. It is an intensive treatment, the mask contains vitamin A,C & E including a specialised marine complex shown to increase collagen levels, helping to strengthen skin from within & visibly reduce wrinkles over time. Protective green tea & conditioning wheat germ & soya oils also leave the skin feeling silky.
How to Use:
- After cleansing and exfoliating, apply a thin layer of the mask.
- Allow to soak into skin while you relax for 5-10 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water and a soft cloth. Pat dry.
- Finish with a few drops of Therapist’s Secret Facial Oil or a Sanctuary moisturiser.
- Once a month leave the mask on overnight and then wash off in the morning.
Key Ingredients: Green Tea, Wheatgerm & Soya Oil – Leaves skin feeling silky. Vitamins A, C and E – shown to increase collagen levels.Spa it girl verdict: Love it – from the moment I put it on my skin it felt and smelt good. The masks had a very soft and silky feel. When I took the mask off my face, my skin felt so smooth and plump. I did notice a real difference after using this anti-ageing product so this is definitely one anti-ageing mask I will continue to use as part of my skincare routine.
