Active Living Winter Tips

Hello Beauties

It’s the start of a brand new week and OMG “it’s absolutely freezing” winter in Australia has truly arrived.

If you are finding it hard to exercise, eat well, and live your usual healthy active life – then here are some of my handy tips to help keep you motivated:

* Pack snacks and keep them in your bag: include things like nuts, fruit, rice crackers.
* Organise your lunches and dinners in advance – know what you are intending on having at least 3 days in advance.
* When you go shopping ditch walking down the Chocolate aisle – be strong and walk on by.
* Don’t leave home without your water bottle even though it’s cold you still need to be drinking water, drink herbal tea to warm you up if need be.
* Layer up, rug up keep your self toasty and warm it will help you from catching a cold.
* Eat wholesome fresh unprocessed nourishing food that fills you up.
* Start planning a Summer Holiday and your Summer Holiday outfits and bikini.
* Check out your local gym and make most of some of the amazing 7 days free passes that are out there – it’s never winter inside a gym {who knows you might even like it}
* It might be to cold outside for your morning walk – but it’s never to cold inside to do a youtube fitness workout or dvd {no excuses}
* There’s always room in your home, hotel room to do a mini winter workout include exercises such as: push ups; crunches; lunges; squats; tricep pushups; stretches repeat.
*Phone a friend to talk about your Health and Fitness goals check in at the start of the week and then again at the end of the week to see how you both are going.
*Try some of the amazing Health and Fitness apps out there, download My Fitness Pal to track what you are eating, your exercise and work towards your goal.
* Put your Health and Wellness before anything else… even this very cold winter weather.
