Our Spa it Girl HK Contributor, Janice Ng visited Sense of Touch at Repulse Bay Spa for HydraFacial® by the Beach and shares this:
The Repulse Bay Spa location is amazing and it felt like I was escaping the Hustle and Bustle of the Busy Hong Kong City and going on my own Spa it Girl Getaway.
The Sense of Touch Repulse Bay had 6 luxurious treatment rooms and they a beautiful contemporary colonial design with Moroccan influence.
The Spa has such a beautiful setting and they have this amazing pedicure area looks out onto an idyllic private garden with gazebo and Bali loungers which blends tradition with byzantine design influence using Moroccan floor lanterns aside Balinese furniture and palm trees in their private garden so I really did feel like I was on a real Spa it Girl Getaway.
As for their spa treatment rooms they are a mix of traditional finishing on woodwork, luxurious curtains, canopy roof feature (in one room), unique wall paper designs elements for each room, and Moroccan lanterns and mirrors and it feels really beautiful.
Design aside when I arrived the staff at Sense of Touch were so lovely, warm, friendly and inviting and my Spa Therapist was amazing as she explained everything about what a Hydrafacial was and the facial procedures and what skincare benefits I could expect from having it.
Right about now I was so grateful to be a Spa it Girl Contributor because living in Hong Kong I find that it does take a toll on your skin not to mention it’s a city that never sleeps so it was so great to take some time out and be a Spa it Girl.
The Hydrafacial consisted of 4 main steps which were:
Step 1: Cleansing with #glucosamine HCL.
Step 2: #Glycolic and #salicylic acid for deep cleansing that extracts blackheads, whiteheads, dirt and oil.
Step 3: Salicylic acid clarifying solution for extraction
Step 4: Antioxidants with #hyaluronic acid for deep #hydration.
I felt the skin results immediately and even for hours after my treatment. I also felt so relaxed and like I had been a mini holiday.
My skin was seriously glowing and I felt so relaxed. I couldn’t help but smile because I felt that good inside.
I was so grateful for my Spa Therapist and the wonderful work she had done. My skin felt deeply cleaned and hydrated and I have to say I loved the head, neck and shoulder massage it was so relaxing.
If you want a quick and instant getaway from the city, then I totally recommend booking in for a Spa Treatment at Sense of Touch at Repulse Bay Spa as it’s such a beautiful setting plus the service and standard of spa treatment is outstanding.
I also recommend taking some more time out for yourself and afterwards chilling by the beach.
I now can’t wait to visit Sense of Touch for another spa or beauty treatment and I also can’t wait for other Spa it Girl’s who live in Hong Kong or visiting to try a HydraFacial at Sense of Touch.
