Bridget Carmady is the Founder of Clemence Organics and is a degree qualified Naturopath. The inspiration for the first product she ever made was for her Dad, who was receiving radiation treatment for throat cancer.
Bridget wanted her Dad to have a balm that was going to soothe his dermatitis, heal damaged skin, and provide a natural barrier. The first product created by Bridget worked so well that even the oncology nurses were commenting on how amazing her Dad’s skin was compared to other patients on the ward.
That product went on to become Clemence Organics Ultimate SOS Balm. As a qualified Naturopath, Bridget has always been passionate about natural but effective ways to help people improve their health.
Starting her career in complementary medicine research, before running a naturopathic clinic, where I used nutrition, supplements, herbal medicine and lifestyle changes to remedy people’s health issues.
In her clinic she started noticing that many of my clients had skincare concerns. For some it was ageing skin, for others sensitivity, acne, eczema or rosacea.
Bridget also had skin challenges and in her teens experienced acne, scarring in her twenties ad signs of ageing in my thirties.
However her clients and Bridget faced a lack of skincare products on the market that were gentle and made from natural, organic ingredients but still able to deliver powerful results and the luxurious experience of conventional high-end skincare.
