Alba is a world-class thermal springs and day spa sanctuary located within a beautifully landscaped 15-hectare property.

Offering contemporary bathing and spa experiences with a range of indoor, open-air, and outdoor thermal pools, and a menu of spa services created to renew, repair, and recalibrate.

With a premium quality dining experience at restaurant Thyme, located in the heart of the springs and spa complex.

Alba features contemporary geo-thermal bathing and has 31 different pools varying sizes including geothermal pools, cold plunge pools and herbal-infused botanical pools.

Some pools are submerged in a flowering meadow, some created as apertures to the sky, others are gently cradled within drifts of waving grasses.

There are pools that are intentionally intimate and peacefully private, while others are social.

In the higher reaches of the site The Hemisphere provides bathers with tranquil hidden gardens, a semi enclosed geothermal pool (The Hide), a cold plunge pool and access to a steam room and sauna.

Alba Spa

Features 22 expansive spa treatment rooms, including a steam room, Vichy shower, and single or double massage rooms.

You can choose from more than 30 spa services encompassing facial, body and water-based treatments.

The spa complex features a separate manicure and pedicure suite.

On the mezzanine level of the main spa building is a spacious relaxation lounge featuring private booths and oversized day beds, overlooking the extensive native gardens.

The spa treatment menu features Australian made products by Vanessa Megan and her internationally award-winning Nuturaceutical™ products plus, treatments using Sodashi Australia made skincare products.

The Victorian Aika Wellness formulations created following Ayurvedic principles.

Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is a proud Australian company that is committed to respecting the natural environment and acknowledging its Traditional Owners – the people and the elders of the Boon Wurrung and Bunurong community, members of the Kulin Nation.

They use 100% geothermal waters. This water contains naturally occurring minerals including sulphur, calcium, magneisum and potassium and is classified as a ‘sodium chloride bicarbonate spring’.

The water is naturally heated to between 37c and 43c in underground aquifers 550 metres below the surface and used to fill our pools each day.

The therapeutic benefits of these waters are said to include the alleviation of neuralgia, bruising, articular rheumatism, stiffness of the shoulders, recovery from fatigue and muscular complaints. They cool water for their cold plunge pools.

As well as their geothermal pools, Alba offers guests an array of bathing experiences including their rain pool (The Falls) and their seasonal pool (The Seasons) where the temperature changes over the year.
