I have always been curious about what a 24 Carat Gold Facial is, and what it would feel like. I have seen so many marketing photos with girl’s faces covered in gold over the years but I had never been to a Spa that actually offers a 24 Carat Gold Facial. When I visited Niramaya Spa at Niramaya Villas & Spa in Port Douglas, Australia I was super excited to see that they offered Dr Rose GOLD 24 Carat Gold Facial and that is was one of their signature Niramaya Spa treatment.
A 24 Carat Gold Facial is an Anti-aging spa therapy treatment as the Gold is used to help boost the blood flow to the area that is being treated, to help restore elasticity, it is used to slow down the collagen depletion and the breakdown of elastin to prevent sagging of the skin. It also stimulates cellular growth to generate healthy, firm skin cells and provide a visible tightening effect.
It is rumoured that Cleopatra had slept in a gold mask to enhance her beauty so if it’s good enough for Cleopatra then it’s good enough for Spa it Girl’s. Gold also has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and it’s great to for people who have eczema or acne who in general want their skin to just feel amazing after their 24 Carat Gold Facial.
I had my first 24 Carat Gold Facial experience at Niramaya Spa and it was such a Beautiful feel good experience. When my Spa Therapist Mon was carefully putting 24 Carat Gold leaf on my face which then created the 24 Carat Gold Mask, I didn’t really know what to expect but my facial at Niramaya Spa was so lovely and I emerge from my day spa bed so relaxed and well rested that when I took one look in the mirror I couldn’t believe how clean my skin looked, how hydrated and glowing it was it has to be the best my skin has ever felt which I know is a big call considering I am a Luxury Spa Travel Reviewer and have been for some time now but that is the absolute truth.
Having a 24 Carat Gold Facial at Niramaya Spa made me feel so good, and I was totally in awe of what a difference having it made to my skin. I couldn’t help look at my skin in the mirror and think WOW now I know what all the Hype is about.
A 90 Minute Dr Rose GOLD facial at Niramaya Spa costs $350 but if you have never had a 24 Carat Gold Facial before then it’s well worth it. If you have been thinking about getting cosmetic surgery then don’t bother try a 24 Carat Gold Facial first before you go down the cosmetic surgery path you will be amazed at how amazing it makes your skin look and feel.
