Here are 6 inspiring things you can do to get you Ready for the New Year and a New YOU:
1. Choose to Be Active & Layout your Activewear
Firstly you have to work out how are you going to be active, would you like to go for a walk, run, swim, bike ride, group fitness class, yoga? then who are you going to be active with? friends, family or by yourself? when and where? Next you want to choose your inspiring active wear outfit and lay it out on the floor along with your runners, a hat, water bottle, and a fully charged iPod {make sure your playlist is up to date with lots of energetic motivating music} whatever you need for your workout. When you wake up in the morning get ready to Seize the day so you can live your best healthiest and happiest life and make the most out of new year 2015.
2. Go to bed early
There is nothing worse than getting up in the morning after a couple hours of sleep or after having a few drinks. If you choose to be an Active Girl on New Year’s Day.….then get a good nights sleep. You can watch the fireworks repeats on the news. When you wake up get dressed in your active wear and get ready to rock this brand new year.
3. Set your Intention
Ask yourself a couple of questions and write whatever answer comes to your way: Q:what would I like to do today? Q:how I will be active? Q:how will I nourish myself? Create your own positive affirmation’s like: I choose to Be Active, Healthy and Happy and say them outloud. Be commitment to taking care of myself. Also set your attention for 2015 what is you would like to achieve? Make a list of all the things you would like to do in 2015, places you would like to visit, people you would like to spend more time, let this be a guide for things that you would like to do in 2015 – re-visit this list anytime you get a little side tracked with your intention for 2015.
4. Have a Technology detox
Waking up and checking your phone for social media feeds first thing is one habit you need to kick….it’s easy way to get distracted from being active and working on your inner self not to mention you can easily loose track of time and achieve nothing in the morning other than reading your facebook updates. Get into the habit of waking straight up jumping into your activewear and starting your daily rituals don’t worry about missing out on anything all of the social media updates will be there waiting for you on your return to your phone or tablet.
5. Nourish yourself
Choose to eat fresh healthy unprocessed foods you can do it – you have to believe you can and you will. Your body, mind and spirit is how you get around and journey through life so take d*mn good care of it. Be grateful for who you are and what you have and choose to nourish yourself with positive healthy foods.
6. Do Things that Make You Feel Good
It can be anything from writing in a gratitude journal, taking a dance class, packing your lunch, catching up with a friend or yourself for a coffee, reading inspirational blogs, writing your own positive affirmations and practising affirmations in the mirror like…’I am beautiful’….’All is well in my world’…..’I am radiant and glowing with love, light and positive energy’ whatever you choose to do make sure it’s from your heart and soul be you authentic self and like no one else.
