I celebrated World Yoga Day at the Luxurious – Silky Oaks Lodge in Mossman Australian one of the most beautiful tropical rainforest environment’s I have ever experienced in Australia. I practiced yoga outside right amongst mother nature on this really cool open wooden deck. I felt like I connected not only with my breath but also with all of the elements of mother earth.
When I was on my Yoga Mat all I could hear was the running healing waters of the beautiful Mossman river, all I could see was beautiful rainforest trees, palms, plants, all I could hear were the birds, and all I could feel and smell was the crisp cool clean pure fresh air. It was the most natural mother earth experience ever.
When I looked up and around at my beautiful natural surroundings I was totally mesmerised, taken back and totally bless and grateful that the Silky Oaks Lodge existed in this era. Practicing Yoga at the Silky Oaks for me was so surreal it felt like I was in a dream that’s how taken back I was by the sheer natural beauty. It was the most dream like feel good spiritual feeling. When I was practicing yoga at Silky Oaks it was within pure serenity when I laid back on my yoga mat and looked up above me all I could see was a canopy of beautiful feel good rainforest trees. No amount of pictures, or words can truly describe how Beautiful and Feel good the Silky Oaks yoga space is it really is one destination you have to travel to personally to truly experience it.
My Silky Oaks Yoga Teacher was Erin and she was the most amazing teacher ever, she had such a beautiful, calming, peaceful voice and she took us on a very spiritual yoga journey, she guided us through the whole way, and I loved how she took the time to walk around to every single student to help adjust them, or to help them with their yoga form. Erin reminded us that when we practice Yoga that we are not in competition with others that we are honouring our beautiful spiritual, emotional, physical being and that we don’t need botox as we have yoga.
Erin shared so many words of wisdom and so many things about the benefits of yoga and what the yoga poses was and what it was for that I learnt so much personally from Erin that I felt that her yoga class was truly authentic and unique. I loved her peaceful, supportive, calming yoga style. Erin managed to get everyone to smile and to laugh and doing yoga in the morning with others who were also staying at the luxury spa yoga loving Silky Oaks lodge was so much yogi #SPAITGIRL fun.
I loved practicing yoga so much in Silky Oaks that I personally want to go back again and experience even more of this spiritual, feel good, wellness, healing, soulful, spa, yoga loving place. The Silky Oaks had the most transpiring transformation relaxation energy and vibe just by being there it made me feel that I could let go of everything, surrender, forget about my to do list, my social media feed.
By staying at the Silky Oaks lodge I was totally able to unwind, relax, slow down, re-set, re-energise and practice yoga in a place like no other. The Silky Oaks to me is the top Australian Destination to stay and practice yoga at if you are looking for a truly natural authentic spiritual mother nature, natural yogi experience.
