20 ways to have a HAPPY & HEALTHY WEEKEND

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Set your Intention. Work out what your 2015 Health and Wellness goal is.  Then choose to do things that will bring you closer to your goal.  Be Clear when you set your intention and then stay focussed and work towards your goals each day.

2. Start each day with a Grateful Heart – write down 3 things each morning that you are grateful for.

3. Create your own daily positive affirmation – write it down on a post-it note and place it on your fridge so you re-visit it a number of times over the weekend.  Positive Affirmations can really shift stagnated negative energy to positive energy.

4. Write your own Daily Mantra – make it strong, powerful and beautiful just like you.  One of my favourite Mantra’s is: I am Strong, Happy, Healthy and Kind. I can overcome anything I choose to.  Find strength and power through the words you choose to think, write, and speak.

5. Go for walk

6. Go for a jog

7. Go to the gym

8. Try a group fitness class – Body Attack or Body Balance? you choose

9. Practice Yoga

10. Meditate Daily

11. Catch up with someone who makes you feel good

12. Eat lots of Fresh Healthy Fruit and Vegetables

13. RELAX – read a nice book, watch a movie, have a massage, bubble bath, people watch, go window shopping, paint your nails, sit in silence and simply just be.  Whatever you choose to do make sure makes you feel good.  It’s relaxing and it helps you unwind inside. Re-energise your Body, Mind and Soul.

14.  Cook a Fresh Healthy Dinner at home use fresh healthy ingredients. No what ingredients are in your meal and where they came from.  Aim not to buy takeout or to eat highly processed foods.

15. Lay off the Alcohol – yes even if it is the weekend!

16. Drink lots of water – don’t leave home without your water bottle.

17. Drink cups of green tea or any tea

18. Get a Good Night’s Sleep


19. Laugh out loud; and

20. Sing and Dance like no one is watching :-)
